Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. competing in the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became Comaneci's coach, first discovered Comaneci aged six. Her first competition was at the national junior championships of 1969, finishing 13th. She won the competition in 1970. In her 1972 first international event in a preolympics junior competition for nations in the Communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she was named the all-around Junior Champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. This was the first time she participated as a senior. In 1976 she became the first female athlete in the world who used a double backwards salto in order to take off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens, Carol Wayne began working in the entertainment business performing as a figure skater. Together with her younger twin brother Nina Wayne she was part of a traveling show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her journey into the entertainment business as a teenager. Her first job was as a model skater with her sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around named Ice Capades. They featured staged ice skating performance.
