Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy De Domme. Her parents, both dentists, and a school teacher, have encouraged and supported her from the beginning of her interest in theatre and drama. She initially hoped to become a master monkey was surpassed by her desire to learn about drama and theater. Success in the beginning and an immediate rise in fame led her to become a young actor. After her graduation in 1998, she took part in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before launching her acting career with a bang. Tautou has attended an Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a young girl as well as attended the school, has disavowed her Catholic background. Neben her acting, Tautou took up modeling and was the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Alongside her acting profession, she has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some images in the Arles Film Festival and wore the title Superficial. In her photographs, she tends to focus on the spotlight and celebrity. The camera's focus is to journalists, who have sat and watched the actress after Amelie's sudden triumph. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her first big role, starring as the lead role in The Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie is a global box-office hit, receiving accolades during awards ceremonies across all over the world. The movie is the top grossing French language movie on the market in US. Following this massive success, Tautou was later cast in many films which included British dramas, like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. In addition, she was a part of Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
