Zazie O. Beetz was conceived in Berlin on the 21st of November 1991. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker who came to live into the United States following the fall of Berlin Wall. Jennifer Aniston is also a graduate of the same highschool. Beetz, who graduated from LaGuardia in 2007, went to Skidmore College and studied French. After college she immediately auditioned and was selected for the part of Van at Atlanta. Born in Berlin to the parents of a German father and an African-American mother, Beetz was born on the streets of New York speaking both German as well as English at her home. In community theaters as well as local stages since the age of five, Zazie found her joy when she was in the middle school years and began growing into acting.
